Welcome to Dragons & Dice, A Dungeons and Dragons podcast where I talk about all things D & D. I go over tips for players and DM’s. I make home brewed items that you can add to your games. I make random charts for your players to roll on. And at the end of each month I do a fantasy character build out as a Dungeons and Dragons character.
Listen on:
The Dreaded Negative Critical chart
1) Crit your pants - You hit your self
2) Sad - Turn ends, no other movement or actions
3) Friendly Fire - You auto hit closest ally
4) Slippy - You drop your weapon, arcane focus, instrument, etc and it takes a bonus action to pick it up
5) Emotional Truama - Skip next turn
6) Rage out - Standard Melee attacks next turn
7) Over think it - Spells only next turn, skip turn if you don’t have any.
8) Stubborn - Must redo the failed actions each turn until successful
9) Over Compensate - Must use your biggest spells and as many cool downs as possible next turn
10) Fear of Failure - No action next round
11) Scared - Must use all of your movement to flee the missed target.
12) Embarrassed - Disadvantage on next save or attack, give creature advantage on saves
13) Make an excuse - If the Dm likes it nothing, if not roll twice on the chart
14) Blame Placer - Pick a party memeber, an actual PC, no summoned monsters or pets and roll on the chart for them
15) Over Worked - Can only do 1 of action/ bonus action/ movement next turn
16) Brain Pain - 1d8 psychic damage
17) Contagious - Any on the moves with in 10 ft of your or finishes a turn there must roll. This doesn’t effect enemies
18) Think it over - You can’t speak until next turn if you do reroll
19) Learn from your mistakes - Advantage next roll
20) Balance - Hit! Max Damage

So I tried to build a Multiclass and it turned out like hawt Garbo. When I got done I realized that if I had just made a lvl 20 character in one class it would have been way better is almost every way. That got me thinking. Are the level 20 cap stones that great for Dungeon and Dragons characters that if we are going to end game should we be multiclassing? Turns out its about 50/50 some classes are just made to be played to lvl 20 and some are so crappy at the top its like the D & D developers forgot what they were going for around level 12. So I breakdown what and where i think you should be multiclassing and what I would take for each of the classes. Thank you all so much for tuning it to the show. You all rock, as much as a Stone Giants ranged attack!

So It’s May the Forth and what better day to release Aprils fantasy character build. This one is going to be from “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away” because today on Dragons and Dice I am bringing that nefarious bounty hunter, Boba Fett, to the Dungeons and Dragons table. That’s right its Star Wars time! This build has so many attacks and mods to them that you will be dropping dice until your DM’s band of rebels is running for Endor with there Jedi robes tucked between there legs. Boba Fett is a first round nuke that hits so hard it’s the only round you need. I hope you enjoy the build and as always thanks so much for listening.

Hey folks, Thanks for checking out the show. I am greatful for your time. Speaking of time, Its time for nothing but home brewed goodies to add to you Dungeons and Dragons game. In this episode I go over a system for magical ammo, Socketed weapons. An AI, that’s arcane intelligence, that can take over your brain. But if it does it’s ok there is also a potion that will let you forget and a new spell to add to your spell books. I hope you love them more than all of King Midas’ silver.

It’s tank time baby, I have been a tank junky since my first World of Warcraft character was a Prot Pally, shout out to RIzer of Alleria, and its no different in D & D. I love those characters that risk life and limb to keep others safe. In this week’s episode I must be crazy, I built a sorcerer tank with barbarian like hp, an all caster tank that teleports around the battle field, and a Druid that doesn't cast spells in battle but cant die. The last one is what I am calling the Shroom of Doom, although Gloom Shroom would work too. It is broken and gets 50 temp hp each round if it has a spell slot. In this month fantasy Dungeon and Dragons character build, I build Delila Bard from the V. E. Schwab series “A Darker Shade of Magic”. This is a must read for everybody, especially if you love fantasy books. Lila Bard is an absolute gem of a character, and one of my favorites from any series. As it turns out she makes a pretty mean DnD character too. Check out the build complete with an Antari Blood magic homebrewed item to fill out her awesome Gish abilities.
